Posting this early because I have a bit of a busy day tomorrow, but it's gone midnight here in the UK anyway. It's Audi's birthday today, she would've been 22. Crazy to think a whole year has passed since last year's significantly more elaborate original piece I drew in her memory:
I've decided I'm going to use birthdays as an excuse to finish collabs we started but never finished or colour art she drew me. It's just another little way I want to keep her memory alive via her art.
This was a collab we were working on but ended up being procrastinated into oblivion. She drew the original sketch in December 2010, and I did as far as the base colour by July 2011, according to my file properties. Since then it sat gathering dust until yesterday when I did the shading. I don't think there was any particular story behind this, we were always just drawing silly Left 4 Dead pictures and I think this was just one of her more elaborate ones. Our silly L4D arts usually reflected our intentionally ridiculous headcanons, but here it was more representing our idiotic playing style I think.
(The only part that possibly needs explaining to those who weren't in our friendship group: The mysterious Bill face watching over us all was a gmod-created spray image we used in the game and something that would entertain us endlessly by spraying it on walls in hilarious places. It came from our gmod recreation of this art. (And for the sake of deviantART copyrightness, I should mention that Valve as a company have more than proven they are fine with people using their content in creative endeavours which is why I left it in here)).

Better to die than be ripped apart by these infected bitches! With the exception of Louis, the survivor doesn't seem to care about their deaths. I hope the Tank makes it quick.
